Getting Started with Grants.gov

Grants.gov is the centralized website for all 26 Federal grants-making agencies to post grant funding opportunities and application packages. Grants.gov has two major features: FIND and APPLY.

FIND

  • Search for Funding Opportunities and Application Packages
  • Sign up for Email Alerts

APPLY

Submission to Grants.gov

At the time of submission, Grants.gov will perform a basic validation of the Application Package before the package is available for the agency to pick it up. Grants.gov will send emails to the AOR at each step in the submission and validation process.
